We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Hotel Receptionist to join our highly motivated team at the Watson's Bay Boutique Hotel in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.

The Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel is a 31 room boutique hotel with the latest concept in bar and dining in Sydney.

As a Hotel Receptionist at Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel, you will be responsible for:
  • Handling the check-in and check out guest experience
  • Responding to all incoming telephone and email enquiries in a professional and sales orientated manner
  • Handling all accommodation and restaurant reservation enquiries
  • Providing outstanding customer service and assistance to hotel and dining guests
  • The accurate and timely handling of cashiering and administrative tasks
  • Attracting and retaining guests through providing a high level of customer service and being knowledgeable about out services
  • Working independently and unsupervised at times

As a self motivated, passionate and focussed individual you will possess the following attributes & skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer service role, preferably in the accommodation industry
  • Superb customer service skills
  • Immaculate presentation paralleled by attention to detail
  • Ability to share your knowledge, multi-task and answer questions on many topics
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • A professional and organised approach to your role
  • Confidence amongst a wide variety of guests
  • The ability to learn large amounts of information on every area of the venue
  • Strong administrative skills including knowledge of outlook, Microsoft office and booking systems
  • A team player
It should be noted that this role includes morning (7am to 3pm) and evening shifts (1pm to 9pm) across seven days. You will be required to work weekends, and it is expected that all applicants will hold an RSA certificate.
