Customer Service Officers – Full and Part-time Vacancies available 

We’re excited to announce a new round of opportunities for customer service officers to join our Regional Contact Centre. These will be a combination of full-time and part-time roles, with a minimum of 18 hours a week required within the service hours specified further below.

Please note that arrangements will be in place for staff to work remotely subject to State and National requirements concerning COVID19. Furthermore, 6 weeks of onboarding at our Warragul Office location will likely be required (subject to restrictions) before remote working arrangements are made. Regardless of whether you opt for part-time or full-time, you will have to be prepared to commit full-time to training for those first weeks of onboarding.

All successful applicants will be required to comply with the Victorian Government Covid vaccination mandate.

Our Regional Contact Centre is located in Warragul, Gippsland region, about a 45-minute drive from South East Melbourne (against traffic) and just a short walk from Warragul train station. Please note that we have another office based in Melbourne on St Kilda Rd so for future career development and growth, you’ll have to demonstrate the flexibility to travel to this location as required.

The role

Working in either our Claims Services or Policy Administration teams, you will be responsible for assisting our customers over the phone or by email with queries or changes regarding General Insurance. You will be working in a fast-paced yet friendly and supportive environment.

Our standard working hours are 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. For full-timers you will have to be available to work a 37.5 hour week within the above hours on a rotating roster.

As part of the application process, you’ll need to be available sometime during the week of 25th - 29th October for either an in-person assessment centre or a remote video conference (or similar) to assess suitability. The start dates for this role will be around early November.

The starting salary for this role full time is $53,750 package (Incl. 10% super). The appointment will be subject to satisfactory police and reference checks.
