This is an opportunity to work within a robust and ever-growing company currently undertaking projects for clients across the mining, oil & gas, rail and construction sectors, predominantly servicing the civil, structural, mechanical, and pipeline infrastructure disciplines. The company maintains a strong client base and is steadily growing in multiple locations throughout Western Australia.
About the role
Seabreeze Contracting is currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced Carpenters/Formwork Carpenters with extensive experience in formwork, concreting and civil construction for projects based across the Pilbara. We have an immediate need for quality candidates on the Rio TintoRobe Valley Sustaining Project
Role Specifics
FIFO Ex Perth Or DIDO for Pilbara Local Hire
2x1 or 3x1 roster’s available
Great hourly rates are available depending on experience and qualifications
Hours: 10.5 or 12 hour days depending on the project agreement
Long term opportunities for those willing and able
Superannuation paid on all hours
Skills and experience
Minimum 2+ years of previous hands-on experience in the building and construction industry
Experience in Formwork Carpentry
Elevated Work Platform 
Working at Heights 
White/Blue Card – Working Safely in the Construction Industry
Ability to interpret and understand design drawings
Understanding of Mine site Health and Safety policies and procedures
Positive attitude and team player
Current HR Driving licence or willing to obtain before the commencement date
Previous FIFO experience will be an advantage
Rio Tinto/FMG/BHP inductions
Operate and maintain a 4wd ticket
You will be required to:
Show evidence of your eligibility to work in Australia
Provide copies of formal qualifications prior to commencement
Pass a pre-employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen
Undertake/provide a current Police Check

Please note, it is a Western Australian Government requirement that all site-based and remote workers within WA’s resources industry must have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by 1 December 2021 and be fully vaccinated by 1 January 2022.
