About this Role

The Administration Officer is responsible for providing administration services to the Food & Beverage, Security, Facilities and Tracks through the rostering and maintenance of staffing levels. A high level of accuracy and detail is required as the role assists in the overall co-ordination of the recruitment, interviews and on boarding. This role is on a permanent full time basis, Tuesday – Saturday.


Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Process successful candidates through the Time target on-boarding platform ensuring all staff are issued with the necessary recruitment documentation
  • Maintaining RSA, Covid-19 and all training registers whilst ensuring all appropriate staff hold required accreditations
  • Communicating with staff via Time Target and Message Media on shift information, availability and other employee information
  • Assisting in rostering staff as communicated by the Senior Admin Officer and department Managers
  • Compiling and distributing casual staff timesheets and log books for team leaders on race days
  • Ensuring all necessary paperwork in logbooks entered and are up to date
  • Issuing and maintaining records of uniforms and lockers
  • Attend to pay inquiries and change of details for casual staff
  • Process end to end purchase orders in conjunction with appropriate department manager
  • Ensure the maintenance of ISO9001 accreditation (QMS)

 To be successful in this role you will have

  • General Administration experience
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written skills to relate and be responsive to a broad range of both internal and external customers
  • Ability to roster staff to meet requirements
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Fast and accurate data entry
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Business Certificate – or studying towards
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office – specifically Excel and Word
