As a preferred supplier to the private & public sector, we have over 40 years of experience in areas such as aerial imagery and mapping, 3D modelling and airborne LIDAR. Aerometrex also offers a subscription-based service known as MetroMap, which gives users easy access to high-quality 2D imagery, 3D reality mesh models and LIDAR-derived products. 

About the role

A great opportunity has become available for a fulltime Telephone Sales Representative to join our Sales team based in Adelaide. This newly created role reports to the MetroMap Manager and is suited to an experienced telephones sales professional with excellent time management and customer relations skills.


  • Cold calling a variety of clients from different industries
  • Manage a high volume of enquiries and leads
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide a high level of customer service at all times, keeping in line with company values and reputation
  • Assess and diagnose the needs of clients, providing practical solutions
  • Selling and demonstrating MetroMap to a coordinated and continuous plan which is aligned to marketing messaging
  • Referring larger more complex opportunities to MetroMap Manager

About you

  • Previous sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close customers on the phone
  • Clear, professional, friendly speaking voice
  • A positive disposition with an exceptional phone manner
  • Exceptional communication skills, including verbal, written and interpersonal
  • A genuine desire to learn and develop their skills and knowledge
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Have previous experience using CRM software (experience with Salesforce is an advantage)
  • Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in Sales in a similar industry, as such Geospatial industry and/or SaaS is definite advantage
