About the role:

Play an integral role in driving the business to its optimal potential. As a 2IC  you will be accountable for the Amphora FOH operation ensuring our guests receive a flawless experience that delights even the most discerning connoisseurs.

If you are passionate about wine, amazing food and first class experiences, then decant your management toolkit and uncork one of the best management positions in town.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Hands on role to anticipate and curate an exceptional visit for every guest
  • Assist Manager with stock take and stock control systems to meet budgeted targets
  • Ensure compliance with all Liquor Licensing and other relevant legislation
  • Ensure cash handling procedures are properly instigated and followed
  • Ensure all amenities are open/closed at correct times and venue presentation is maintained to the highest standard during trading periods
  • Adhere to HACCP practices to ensure food quality and safety standards are met

About you:

It is envisaged that you will have Hospitality supervisory or management experience with a strong knowledge of both food and bar operations.  An appreciation and understanding of local and international wine is important.

  • Ability to read the room and adapt your service to each individual Amphora journey
  • Ability to work under pressure with effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Dedicated to making sure every guest leaves with a plan to soon return
  • Be generous with your hospitality and confident to share your extensive wine knowledge
  • Display a keen eye for detail
  • Influence positive outcomes for the business
  • Sound financial literacy, operating to budgets, managing labour costs and reducing costs and wastage
  • Current NSW RSA certificate
