We are looking for an experienced software developer to develop exceptional web applications for the education market.  This role will be focused on our iMaths Online project, to see it through to its successful completion and launch. 

This full-time contract position, located in-house at our Buderim office, provides an opportunity to work with the rest of the production team to deliver outstanding results. 

The ideal candidate will:

  • be an expert in PHP, with a good understanding of MVC frameworks, OOP and inheritance
  • have strong experience with Javascript and jQuery
  • know HTML and CSS inside and out, and have a good understanding of what's available in HTML5 and CSS3
  • be able to turn any static design into a fully-compliant HTML and CSS-based layout
  • be confident with MySQL
  • have experience with Git or other version control software
  • have a strong belief in building the best systems you possibly can, accessible by all
  • be a good communicator, not afraid to speak your mind, and can give and take constructive criticism
  • be a quick learner and keen to hit the ground running
  • knowledge of full LAMP stack would be handy (but not essential).

Initial 12-month contract with the possibility of extension (dependent on the completion of the project).

The salary will be commensurate with experience.
