We are seeking an experienced individual to fill the position of ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer based in either our Sydney or Melbourne office. Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of applications and services utilizing on premise, cloud or SaaS based solutions, encompassing the complete stack from infrastructure to application.
Key Responsibilities include:
Creation of high level and details design documents for proposed solutions
Work in tandem with the Infrastructure team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company
Continual review of the existing infrastructure making recommendations to improvements improve stability and availability
Create and maintain lifecycle plans for the core infrastructure services and applications
Responsible for the continual development of the security posture for both servers and workstations in the environment
Support all facets of the server infrastructure in the environment
Ensure that all production systems are available, patched, updated, and monitored
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in maintaining windows server operating systems as well as Active Directory, WINS, DNS and Group Policy
Experience of supporting MS Exchange Online and Exchange 2016
Proven track record in designing and delivering Infrastructure based solutions
Experience of supporting and optimizing VMWare virtual environments
Experience of supporting cloud IaaS platforms, i.e. Azure and AWS
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
