ABOUT US

Engeny is an employee-owned water management and civil engineering consultancy operating in QLD, NSW, VIC and WA. We are looking for an exceptional administrator to join our team on full-time or permanent part-time basis.

You will be responsible, along with a small team of administrators, for facilitating the daily running of the business, and delivering a range of support tasks to some 80 engineers in the Brisbane office. We are keen to see your energy and bright personality for this role. Innovative ideas and suggestions as to improving the running of the business are encouraged.

ABOUT YOU

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Worked in the professional services/customer facing industry.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • The ability to be proactive and work in a busy environment.
  • A keen desire to learn a career in administration.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated with a positive work ethic and the ability to work with minimal supervision to manage their own workflow.
  • Confident with software and possesses solid computer skills.
  • Warm, friendly, helpful and cooperative with good oral & written communication skills.
  • The capacity to work collaboratively and cooperatively as part of team or independently.
  • Initiative and tenacity.
  • Equipped with great organisational skills.
  • Presented well.
  • Prompt and reliable.

THE ROLE

  • Reception duties - acting as the first point of contact for the company.
  • Day to day clerical duties, such as upkeep of mail, office supplies, stationery orders, scheduling meetings and preparing meeting rooms, arranging catering whenever necessary, answering incoming client calls, diary management, & maintenance of internal registers.
  • Email management, archiving and filing of projects.
  • Project support, such as setting up projects, compiling tenders, document control, editing, formatting, and collating of engineering reports, proposals, letters, CVs & MS Project.
  • Booking of conferences and travel for staff.
  • Managing and generating invoices.
  • Maintaining office upkeep & cleanliness, including kitchen & meeting room tidiness.
  • Generating internal performance reports.
  • Assistance with HR data entry tasks.
  • Assisting with the implementation of Quality Assurance and Business Management Systems.
