The Opportunity & The Why
We pride ourselves on the strength and depth of our technical expertise and camaraderie amongst our colleagues. Our exciting offerings are being driven by our strategic ambitions and a very promising project pipeline.

Consequently, this sustained success has created the opportunity for a Structures Team Leader who is motivated by project diversity and the opportunity to engage with our clients to grow the pipeline and deliver a variety of projects across the region and beyond. We are involved in significant infrastructure projects involving complex structures around the country. In NSW we are currently providing design and engineering services for a series of bridge replacements and new bridges, temporary works projects on major infrastructure and other projects where simple and complex structural design is required. We also provide structural inspection and condition assessment services.

Our national bridge and structures teams work closely together, and with this support you will position for new work and mobilise and lead our technical teams towards the successful delivery of projects in NSW.

About You
This role will appeal to an experienced professional who is eager to take on a leadership role in a mid-sized, Australian engineering consultancy. The role will offer more freedom and influence than equivalent roles in the larger consultancies and you will play a pivotal role in the growth of the New South Wales business.

You will provide leadership as Structures Leader on projects differentiating pitt&sherry through exceptional project delivery. You will leverage your existing profile in the market to grow the business and position pitt&sherry as the business of choice for our clients.

You will grow a cohesive and collaborative team and identify the hiring needs securing highly-talented candidates from the market.

Our Commitment to You
This position will grant you the autonomy and development pathways that are required to really make a difference. Support and mentorship will also be available from our local and interstate colleagues to ensure a smooth transition into our business.

You will receive highly competitive remuneration, plus the opportunity to work flexibly with the needs of the NSW business.

We’re on a journey that is taking us to new and exciting places, and we want you to be a key member of the team that takes us there.

Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace we welcome and encourage applications from women as well as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, mature workers, LGBTI+ people and people from different cultural backgrounds.
