The Role

CWP Renewables are seeking a talented and highly motivated candidate with experience in managing IT infrastructure, services and systems management and ongoing maintenance. The Systems and IT Administrator is a key support position within the CWP Renewables Project Management Office (PMO). 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement relevant IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security (including cyber security), disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
  • Manage business IT needs and administer key contracts.
  • Manage and administer business systems.
  • Manage and maintain CWPR’s control framework for information security and cyber risk.
  • Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
  • Support Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in developing enterprise vision, strategy and implementation for system security and development.
  • Manage IT infrastructure, services and systems management and ongoing maintenance, including equipment availability / stock management for wind assets and offices, CWPR’s server and data centre, and 24/7 OCC.
  • Manage and plan financial performance of the IT function, including operational budgeting, cost accountability, capital project budgets, contractor management, and purchasing.

About you

You will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent amount of experience.
  • Prior work experience as an IT Administrator or in a related position.
  • Strong knowledge of technical management and information analysis.
  • In depth experience with computer network, network administration and installation.
  • Previous experience in cyber security needs.
  • Previous experience in development enterprise-wide system needs and business continuity planning.
  • Experience managing 3rd party contracts.
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite of products specifically Word, Excel and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of Wind / Solar construction and / or operational methodologies and techniques (preferred).
  • Current driver’s licence.
