About the Role 

With a strong and proven history in HR Management this role requires a strategic, innovative, and visionary thinker to create, initiate and implement HR objectives aligned to the Retro Traffic Business model. Reporting directly to the Managing Director the HR Manager is responsible for both internal and external divisions with great potential for career progression within this established and growing company. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned HR Management professional to be involved in driving business success whilst working in an established reputable and supportive company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the HR division both internally and externally
  • Build and mentor the HR team
  • Develop and implement the people plan to support the overall company growth objectives
  • Attending industry related events and driving recruitment strategies
  • Drive development and implementation of key HR initiatives and employee programs
  • Develop training initiatives
  • Driving the people strategy to support diversification into other industries, regionally & interstate
  • Manage the day-to-day HR team and people related matters


About you

This role would suit an experienced HR Management professional who is willing to come into the business and create a HR team to lead the way in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives to align with the overall business model. A flair and passion for growing the business in conjunction with the business stakeholders and business partners is a must. A positive outlook and hands on attitude for streamlining current systems and initiatives as well as the capacity to create new ones. HRIS experience and strong leadership skills will be a driving force for the successful candidate. 


Skills and Experience 

  • HR Qualification essential
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in HR Management role
  • Proven Front line worker or Allied industry experience 
  • Solid experience working in a challenging/volume-based environment
