The Position:
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing all key accounts reporting to the Sales Director in Australia. The successful candidate will define and execute sales strategies, build strong relationships and understand all business units and key stakeholders within their customer base.
 
The role will suit account managers with a proven track record in selling cloud based solutions to SME and Large organisations and must be comfortable presenting to groups in order to do so. Key measures of success are revenue, profitability, increasing footprint and efficient resource allocation. Responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for growing, developing and managing key accounts
  • Work closely with the Sales Director, assisting in the development of business strategies for targeted customer groups
  • Develop strong relationships at all levels within the customers to drive agenda throughout the organisation.
  • Develop and negotiates account marketing
  • Value based sales, negotiation of contracts and projects, opportunity identification, progression of sale to closure within forecasted time frame, understand budget cycle
  • Communicates and understands widely available data such as historical sales trends, category / market growth, analysis of accounts and general market information. 
  • Actively uses metrics to monitor performance and understand results and drivers, while developing contingency plans to address shortfalls on a weekly basis and taking full accountability
  • Collaborate closely with other team members and a set of cross-functional business unit colleagues to drive result.
 
The Person:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
  • A proven track record in selling cloud based solutions to SME and large organisations
  • Tertiary qualifications in a Business related discipline ideal
  • A keen interest in technology and be willing to learn
  • Demonstrated performance and comfort with presenting to groups
  • Proven experience in building strong creditable business relationships
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills
  • Strategic thinker who can focus on the big opportunities and who will dig in to make it happen.
  • The ability to manages for both the short term and long term, for positive ROI.
  • Detail focused, executes with excellence and owns the outcome.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel within an environment of change, and get going with little to no direction.
  • Self motivated, tenacious and balanced individual who brings 'can do' motivation to work every day
  • You must have a full driver’s licence and your own vehicle
