We are driving change and innovation within our business, empowering and developing our people. It is an exciting time to join our team, with a positive promotion for continuous improvement and positive culture change.

About Myola Feedlot

Myola Feedlot is a modern 20,000 head feedlot situated in the heart of the “Golden Triangle” in northwest NSW. The feedlot plays an integral role in the BFG supply chain, ensuring the delivery of a consistent supply of cattle to Bindaree grain fed brands.

Myola is managed by a qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated staff. We pride ourselves on being a working family, valuing teamwork, accountability and operating at the highest standards.

The Program

Bindaree Food Group is committed to the development and training of the next generation of leaders in the feedlot industry.

The aim of the program is to provide graduate students with a tailored, hands-on approach to learning all facets of management and operations in a feedlot environment with the goal of producing an industry ready person who has the training and experience to start their career.

Based on an 18 month timeline, you will be engaged in learning all aspects of the key areas of the feedlot: Livestock, Feeding and Milling; Administration & Operations; and Business Management. Typically, you will spend six months in each area, however the length of time spent learning each area can be adjusted to the type of the candidate’s degree or area of learning, or the direction that would best suit their future career plans.

You will be able to demonstrate;

  • An enthusiasm for forging a career in agriculture and lot feeding;
  • A tertiary qualification;
  • Great communication and leadership ability;
  • The capacity to apply previous and new training into operational and management tasks.

There are opportunities for permanent positions at Myola or within the BFG team upon the successful completion of the graduate program.
