The Opportunity:

With the new year upon us, my clients are getting ready to kick off projects after the Christmas shutdown period. This Tier 1 civil contractor is preparing for construction to begin in the new year and is after an experienced Traffic Engineer to join the team. A 50million dollar package with a duration of approximately 2 years will find this Engineer working various locations North of the river.

I am wanting to speak with Traffic Engineers who are looking for their next METRO BASED opportunity. This person will need to be proficient with MRWA specifications and have prior experience working as a Traffic Engineer. Demonstrated experience in traffic and road safety Engineering is an essential.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Civil or Structural Engineering qualifications.
  • 2+ years' exposure to civil construction OR infrastructure projects.
  • Traffic management and design experience.
  • Experience in managing sub-contractors & liaising with the client.
  • A pro-active, can do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running.
  • Positive references from previous employers, demonstrating a stable employment history.
  • MRWA experience highly regarded.
