Core services focus on addressing social issues of drug related problems, unemployment, mental health and risk taking behaviours, supporting young people, adults and families to transition back into “mainstream” services and supports. 

About the Role and its importance

We are seeking a strategic finance professional to join the Executive leadership team and lead the TaskForce finance function. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, and managing a small team, responsibilities will include providing strategic financial advice to the CEO and Board, in addition to the effective oversight and direction of all finance activities across the organisation. The position is paramount in providing strategic leadership for TaskForce’s corporate and financial governance to ensure the current and future capacity of TaskForce to deliver on our operational and strategic plans. The position holder will also provide Company Secretarial responsibilities to the Board and ensure that all statutory and governance requirements are complied with.

About you

You are an authentic CFO with experience in NFP work environments.  CA/CPA qualified, you are commercially astute with a natural ability to influence and quickly establish rapport, with experience working in complex and unique environments.  You are self-motivated, service oriented and flexible in your style and enjoy combining strategic financial management with the hands-on aspects of finance operations. Able to work with ambiguity, you will take a pro-active and solution focused approach to your work and will actively contribute to a healthy, positive and accountable workplace culture. A genuine team player who is decisive, engaging, adaptable and has the highest integrity will achieve success in this leading community organisation.
