(Northern NSW, Mid North Coast & New England District)

Lismore, Tweed Heads, Ballina, Clarence Valley, Coffs Harbour, Kempsey, Port Macquarie, Taree, Muswellbrook, Tamworth, Armidale, Glen Innes, Inverell, Narrabri & Moree CSCs.

About the Opportunity


The primary purpose of this role is to provide front line services to the community from a local office (Community Service Centre or “CSC”). The role involves a range of client and administrative services that contribute to the effective delivery of quality services in a CSC.


About You


In the role you will support the service delivery of the unit’s administrative functions and provide high quality service to our clients both in person and over the phone.

You will have a strong customer service background, attention to detail and a high level of organisational skills.  


These are ongoing and temporary roles in accordance with the Government Sector Employment Act 2013


A Recruitment Pool will be created to fill similar roles for both ongoing and temporary opportunities if and as they arise.

Essential Requirements


Applicants must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage as it is an essential requirement for this role. The roles have been identified as Aboriginal positions in accordance with the provisions of Section 14 (d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.


The Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012 requires persons engaged in children related work to have Working with Children clearances.

Part of the assessment process may include additional online capability testing, skills testing or work samples in accordance with the new Government Sector Employment Act 2013; therefore you may be contacted to participate. You may also be asked to complete a Health Declaration Form in later stages of the assessment process.
