Administration Assistant

Positive Mind Works is a private telehealth practice providing services in Australia and New Zealand. Due to our continued expansion, we have an opportunity for an Administration Team member (15 hours per week with possibility of more hours in the future) to join our organisation to help support our team of psychologists, psychiatrists and general practitioners. The best part is you get to work from the comfort of your own home, while still having plenty of interaction with the rest of the team.

Please note: Experience in a health setting is essential. This is a Contractor Role. There is no sick or holiday pay entitlement. 

We do require a weekly Saturday 8am to 1pm shift to be covered weekly - please only apply if you are available on a Saturday.

About the role.

Duties performed in the role will include:

  • Inbound and outbound phone call management 
  • Maintain and update practitioner appointment schedules 
  • Be friendly, courteous, and professional
  • Liaise with clients, referral partners and our practitioner team
  • Effectively maintain records
  • Have strong computing skills and a good understanding of IT
  • Professional phone manner
  • Have excellent communication and time management skills
  • Be able to adapt quickly and respond positively to feedback
  • Undertake a variety of other administrative tasks 
  • Multi-task whilst working as part of a busy team, but at the same time be able to work without supervision
  • Be reliable
  • Process payment and Medicare Rebates
  • What you bring to the role
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role
  • Professional communication 
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High computer skill proficiency 

Exposure to a private practice, either medical or allied health is essential

An understanding of of Halaxy and G-Suite would be an advantage, but we will provide training

Knowledge of Medicare funding
