Hudson are seeking highly experienced Claims Officers or Case Managers for ongoing contracts within the federal government. We are currently recruiting for a January 2022 intake and are serching for candidates looking for the next step in their career. You will have the opportunity to join a collaborative team where intensive training is provided, however a positive and open-minded attitude is essential to success.

We are seeking individuals that have a knack for case managment and love providing support to those in need.

Perth CBD, close to public transport with working from home options after a traning period

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Answering calls and providing information to assist client queries
  • Coordinating appointments and providing administration support to the team
  • Negotiating with various clients over the phone and email correspondence
  • Chasing up documents and referral letters
  • Liaising with healthcare providers and medical experts
  • Managing cases and processing multifaceted claims
  • Following set steps and processes and applying government legislation to the claim process
  • Undertake research to inform evidence-based decision making

Desirable skills and attributes for the role:

  • The ability to demonstrate empathy and patience for individual's circumstances is essential
  • Be client-focused and committed to delivering excellent client service
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • An adaptable, positive outlook and willingness to learn
  • Proven ability to gather information and make confident decisions
  • Previous experience working through claims or injury management cases
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to follow process, policy and legislation with high attention to detail
  • 2-3 years administration experience preferred
  • Resilience, a sense of humour and a proactive attitude are all essential
  • Previous Government experience highly regarded
  • ASP4-5 level experience highly regarded
  • Ability to pass a baseline clearance security check
