Our client, a leading workwear, uniform and safety company located throughout Australia is looking for an experienced and versatile Business Development Manager who is hungry to build brand awareness and increase market share. With a solid client base, they supply and distribute workwear & safety products from renowned local and international brands.  

As Business Development Manager you will have a proven success in developing growth strategies, implementing sales plans and negotiating with stakeholders to increase the current client base.  You will be comfortable developing and maintaining key customer relationships and identifying business opportunities that meet or predict customer needs and achieve significant growth and long-term goals.  You are nimble and able to quickly adapt to the challenges thrown your way.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Identifying and pursuing new sales prospects and opportunities for business development
  • Managing competing priorities and deadlines with meticulous attention to detail
  • Prospecting and winning new business
  • Nurturing relationships, pitching new products and adding value to existing customers
  • Exceeding sales KPIs and targets ensuring sales growth
Ideally you will have tertiary qualifications in sales or business management along with experience working in a franchise environment. However, a background in business development and managing business partnerships would also be highly regarded. You will be known as an effective communicator who builds and maintains relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
