This large global entity is one of Australia’s largest industrial services providers with operations across 4 continents, over 650 locations and an employee base of over 30,000. Due to company growth and expansion, they are currently recruiting dynamic and proactive Inside Sales Representatives for their Dandenong site.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative's primary responsibility is to generate new business sales leads by managing inbound and outbound phone enquiries and emails. You will establish, qualify and maintain contact with small to medium commercial and industrial customers to grow company sales and market share. The Inside Sales Officer will also take responsibility for all existing customer renewal business that can be administered over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively manage an account base in an assigned territory using the telephone as the primary communication tool, providing pre-qualified leads to the Commercial and Industrial sales team;
  • Using outbound and inbound call methods, identify and qualify new customer accounts, update existing customer information, update service activity information and document within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system;
  • Promote company solutions and execute targeted marketing campaigns as required;
  • Determine customer requirements and provide solutions to exceed expectations;
  • Manage relationships with all internal stakeholders to support an overall seamless end to end sales process;
  • Maintain customer loyalty through sales call planning to enable service agreement renewals;
  • Provide suitable commercial and industrial waste removal and management solution advice to best meet customer needs;
  • Liaise with Operations on customer service issues and service requirement deadlines to achieve optimal customer service outcomes;
  • Report on; sales activity, customer and competitor activity, KPI’s and other requirements as requested.
Key Criteria:
  • 2+ years telephone sales or customer service experience
  • Excellent phone manner and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to engage over the phone with stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational skills and customer centric focus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • CRM experience
