We are looking for an experienced Building Approval Administration Assistant on a full time basis to start in the New year. The office hours are Monday to Friday 7am - 3:30pm role with parking on site available and is located in Varsity Lakes, QLD.
Duties will include:
To provide admin support by preparing new building applications ready for certification and processing building inspections and certificates such as:
- Lodge applications and inspection documents, and relevant details onto the company's software (Visual Approvals)
- Liaise with multiple local governments
- Answering the phones and assisting with enquiries
- Foster a positive and professional working relationship with clients
- Experience in residential building and ability to interpret construction plans (highly regarded)
- Experience in an Administration role essential (2 + years)
- Experience with Visual Approvals Software (preferred)
- Experience using MS Office Suite
- Ability to be a good team player
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously without constant supervision
