Experienced Medical Specialist Receptionist- ENT Clinics 
$24-27/hr

Our practice focus is on delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive and collaborative, team-focused environment. Due to recent practice growth, we have a newly created role for an experienced full-time medical receptionist who shares in our values and goals.
Our main rooms are located in Benowa across from Pindara Hospital and our off-site clinic is located at Gold Coast Private Hospital in Southport. This role supports 6 surgeons, 1 speech pathologist and an allergy clinic.

Reporting directly to the Practice Manager your daily duties will include:

• Greeting patients in a professional manner
• Booking patient appointments and surgical bookings
• Data entry of personal and confidential information
• Processing payments and appointment billing
• Providing quotes for surgical procedures as well as collating private hospital paperwork and admission forms
• Surgical and 3rd party billing (Eclipse, Surgery Connect, Workcover, DVA, ADF) 
• Answering Incoming calls on a busy switchboard
• Preparing clinical equipment and consumables for consulting sessions 
• Sterilisation of instruments
• Genie diary management 
• Assisting practice manager with admin overflow as required

• A demonstrated professional maturity to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work within our hours of 8am - 8pm and Saturday mornings (where relief cover required)
• Flexibility to work from both locations as required
• At least 2 years specialist reception experience
