Our organisation was established in response to the lack of suitably accessible housing and the limited choice of flexible, person-centred supports for people living with disability in the Northern Territory.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate Executive Manager to join the team at Linkup Australia.

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee Operations Services including Support Coordination and the Administration team
  • Develop and implement strategies aiming to promote the organization’s mission and vision
  • Oversee the quality and outcomes of all operational functions delivered by Linkup Australia.
  • Set up operational targets and monitor outcomes periodically. 
  • Monitor service delivery against targets. Develop department wide reports on progress. Develop long term goals for the department. Review reports by subordinates to acquire understanding of the organization’s financial and non-financial position.
  • Provide leadership and supervision - Guide employees through their development. Give constructive feedback to managers, coordinator, team leaders and support workers. Build an effective team of leaders by providing guidance and coaching to managers.
  • Ensure commitment to and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations across the organisation
  • Create a culture of transparency and communication throughout the organisation
  • Forge and maintain relations of trust with shareholders, partners and external authorities
  • Proactively address challenges in the internal and external environment to protect business interests
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills
  • Must practice justice and equality among the employees

About You

As a Executive Manager at Linkup Australia you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant and related discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in leadership and/or management within community/disability services
  • Experience in managing stakeholder relationships to achieve set objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to identify operational improvements and influencing others to drive change
  • Ability to build a strong sense of team ownership and maintain a high level of staff morale
  • National Police Criminal History Report (less than 3 months old) with acceptable outcome
  • Full (open) Northern Territory driver’s licence
