About the Role
  
Conveniently based in Osborne Park, this is an excellent opportunity to flex your scheduling skills and building knowledge. We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our small, fast-paced team. You will be working for a company with strong foundations as BGC is one of Australia’s most successful privately owned construction groups!
  
Your role will include:
  • Arranging costings and quotes
  • Accurately calculating take off of material and labour quantities from plans and specifications
  • Liaising and negotiating with suppliers for material orders
  • Generating purchase orders and sending them to relevant suppliers and personnel.
If you have the following attributes, we'd like to hear from you:    
  • TAFE certification in Scheduling or Estimating is preferred
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Sound construction knowledge including construction timelines
  • Good computer literacy with a strong understanding of Excel
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Experience with scheduling software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with varied related parties
  • Great team player.
