Plantmark – one of Australia’s leading national wholesale plant nurseries – is seeking an enthusiastic casual Nursery Hand to join our passionate Willawong team.

Plantmark’s operations include seven Wholesale Trade Markets with sales and distribution in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.  Plantmark has been the largest trade supplier to the urban development, landscape and local government sectors for over thirty years and has established an outstanding reputation for excellence within the nursery industry.

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Trade Market Manager, the role involves general nursery duties including weeding, watering, merchandising, grounds maintenance and using trade equipment. Assisting customers, scanning stock, processing payments and liaising with suppliers will also be required.

The position is casual with preferred availability on Saturday and Monday. 

Essential attributes

To be successful as a Plantmark Nursery Hand, you will have:

  • Genuine interest and knowledge about plants
  • High level customer service skills
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Great work ethic and be a team player
  • Forklift licence desirable but not essential

Applicants must also be capable of performing regular heavy lifting tasks and be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
