We are seeking Vaccinator Administrators; Customer Service, Healthcare Students, Temperature Testers, PPE Spotters

We are looking for administration and customer services superstars, who are flexible and are able and willing to work across multiple sites and multiple shifts (including shifts in the evening and after hours)

We have three major workforces we are looking to build; and you may be required to work at a number of major sites including our Fitzroy Campus; East Melbourne and Kew sites, Carlton Vaccination Centre and Campbellfield Vaccination Centre.

A brief description of some of the roles we have available:

  • COVID-19 Workforce Officer | Temperature Testing and PPE Spotter

This is a blended role, in which you will be allocated shifts at our various campuses in either Temperature or as a PPE Spotter. This role is perfect for someone who is looking for variety and flexibility, as there are shifts 24/7 (please note, to be eligible for this role, you do need to be flexible in your availability and be able to work overnight shifts if required)

As a COVID-19 Workforce Officer, you are an integral part of our COVID Response Operations team and work with a team of likeminded individual committed to keeping SVHM employees and patients as safe as possible from COVID-19. As a PPE Spotter, your predominant role will be quality control in ensuring all SVHM employees who are required to, DON (put on) and DOFF (take off) their PPE correctly to ensure safe working practices for the hospital. As a Temperature Tester, you will be responsible for taking the temperature of anyone entering the premises and ensuring an accurate record is maintained, as well as ensuring all attendees are adhering to the mandatory PPE requirements, and assisting staff/attendees with general information, directions and general enquiries.

Classification and remuneration for this position is HS1A ($54,839 per annum, $27.75 per hour).

  • Temperature Testing | Vaccination Clinics

You will work as part of the COVID Vaccination clinic team as a Temperature Tester, and will be the first point of contact for all staff, visitors and community clients/patients visiting the clinic. You will be responsible for taking the temperature of anyone entering the premises and ensuring an accurate record is maintained, as well as ensuring all attendees are adhering to the mandatory PPE requirements, and assisting staff/attendees with general information, directions and general enquiries.

Classification and remuneration for this position is HS1A ($54,839 per annum, $27.75 per hour).

  • Support Officer/Administration | Vaccination Clinics

You will work as part of the COVID Vaccination clinic team to provide administrative assistance to the St Vincent's COVID Vaccination clinic. This role may involve organising and managing consumer flow, directing or answering customer queries, data entry into the relevant systems, ensuring confidentiality compliance under Privacy Act and policy, managing appointment software, information management and ensuring compliance with the recommended administration process.

Classification and remuneration for this position is HS2 ($66,768 per annum, $33.78 per hour).

It's all hands on deck at SVHM to assist the community with the fight against COVID-19, and as such, we do require staff that are able to work multiple sites and shifts so flexibility is a must.

Upon interview, there may a role outside our vaccinator workforce that you are more suitable for. If this is the case, we will discuss other options with you further.

Your Contribution

  • Previous customer service or administration experience (in either retail, hospitality, administration or healthcare) to ensure the best possible service is delivered to the community
  • Have flexibility across days and hours each week
  • Successful completion of approved COVID vaccination training packages (to be completed prior to commencement​)
  • Current National Criminal History Check, or willingness to obtain
  • Current Working with Children's Check (WWC) highly desirable
  • Demonstrating the SVHM Values in all interactions (Compassion, Integrity, Justice & Excellence)
