About the role
Tasks and responsibilities:
Working with APIs and Content Management Systems.
Carry out website maintenance and enhancements.
Use a combination of programming languages to develop websites based on technical scopes, as well as highly designed and documented user experiences and interfaces.
Write functional requirement documents and specifications.
Problem-solving issues and troubleshooting.
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
Carry out functional and usability testing, cross-device and cross-browser testing, and implement accessibility standards.
Assist with the agency's hosting and technical environments, performing basic system administrator tasks.
Relevant qualifications and experience:
IT Degree or equivalent applicable IT qualifications.
5+ years of commercial experience.
Advanced knowledge of version control systems (Git).
Experience working with a CMS.
Serverside languages such as PHP / Node JS.
Experience with Wordpress or Drupal.
Understanding of building sites to WCAG standards.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams; business development, strategy, UX, design, content, marketing, and development.
In-depth knowledge of digital design and development practices and standards.
Proficiency using project management tools and systems such as; Jira, GSuite, and BugHerd (or similar).
Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills.
Outstanding time management, productivity, administrative and organisational skills.

This is a full-time maximum term contract and while our Agency is based in the beautiful Burleigh Heads, we are open to considering remote work for this role.
