This level of authenticity flows the full length of the operation from on farm grain collection right through to the glass of beer at our cellar door premises or cans offered at retail outlets.

You need to be adaptive and have an easy-going attitude.  You will be joining a team that has a strong team commitment and respect amongst its colleagues The nurturing and sharing amongst team members is a key focus and this is sought out from applicants. All applicants will need to show initiative and ability to work independently particularly in the fast-paced busy periods. 


Bar Manager: Full time

Qualifications & Experience

Lucky Bay Brewing is seeking a Bar Manager to become a part of our dynamic team.  This is a full-time position up to 40 hours per week with lieu for any overtime or public holidays. The successful applicant will need to be passionate about customer service with a can-do attitude. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person with all training and mentoring provided. Meals, uniform and a knock-off beer are included. Salary is full-time and to be negotiated based on the award rate. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Providing a friendly, awesome, authentic customer experience to our venue, helping Lucky Bay Brewing exceed expectations.
  • Opening and closing the venue in line with security and standard operating procedures.
  • Understanding staffing requirements and efficiencies, managing bar staff roster/ schedules.
  • Providing leadership and support to other managers, chefs and food/ bar/ event/ brewing/ venue staff.
  • Maintaining stock inventory and managing bar stock.
  • Using point of sale technology and booking management platforms.
  • Inducting new front-of-house bar staff.
  • Managing customer queries and reservations.
  • Liaising with kitchen and brew floor to ensure effective cross-over and support in providing a smooth running front-of-house service.
  • Supervise and coach bar staff in maintaining quality bar practices and customer service.
  • Maintain a high standard of venue presentation, assist musicians and event set-up.

This position is based in Esperance WA which is 750km southeast of Perth.  Relocation to a regional location such as this does add a level of commitment to the role, and this will need to be openly discussed.
