About the Role
As the IT Business Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting and maintaining DQA internal business systems and be responsible for providing internal technical support for all DQA IT systems including hardware, software and assets to ensuring timeliness, consistency and team member satisfaction.
As a DQA IT Business Operations Specialist, you will:
  • Own and operate the DQA ICT support desk – in person and remote Level 1 and 2 support for access, infrastructure and systems.
  • Support and manage the DQA business systems, infrastructure and software support including Zscaler.
  • Manage all DQA technical onboarding.
  • Take responsibility of the entire ICT asset management and lifecycle.
  • Work alongside the CTO and DQA Capability Team for technical guidance, risk assessment, security review and architectural signoff.
  • Undertake Security Officer training and appointment to manage local security operations and access in Canberra.
  • Training and SOP development and delivery to enable peak utilisation of our technology by our team.
  • Undertake required certifications and training to assist DQA maintain partnership competencies.
  • Assist DQA internal backlog delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Research new technologies and systems to improve DQA operational performance.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and extend integrations, data integrity and end user productivity.
  • Maintain and develop new Power BI capability, including dashboards and reports as required.
  • Potentially support, task and mentor DQA graduate/intermediate hires.
About You
As an enthusiastic IT Business Operations Specialist person you will have:
  • Previous experience as a Level 1 and 2 is highly regarded
  • Reasonable technical computer and systems skills and knowledge, especially in web applications, Microsoft Operating Systems/Software and Windows Server administration.
  • The ability to identify and address operational inefficiencies, improvement opportunities and service problems.
  • A collaborative approach, welcome new ideas and thrive when working in a team environment. Together, we can get through anything.
  • High motivation, take pride in your work and exhibit a high degree of accountability to produce quality deliverables.
  • A self-starter mindset and embrace thinking outside the box to solve challenging situations.
  • The ability to rapidly gain trust, influence, and build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders at different levels.
  • Strong time management skills and prioritise your work to meet tight timeframes.
  • Australian Citizenship and an AGVSA or alternative Australian government security clearance
