The Role

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated candidate looking to make a difference and support the transition to a clean energy future.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design of Risk and Compliance Management Frameworks, ensuring alignment to the strategic objectives of CWPR.
  • Maintain the Risk and Compliance methodologies and processes to be implemented across CWPR.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the risk and obligation registers for CWPR and if operations.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of an annual risk and compliance workplan, undertaking audits and reviews of Risk and Compliance practices to ensure they are embedded and abided by.
  • Undertake data analysis of, and draft reports on risk and compliance findings and associated recommendations for consideration by Senior Management and the Audit and Risk Management Committee.
  • Develop and deliver training and guidance for CWPR staff on Risk and Compliance Management processes and requirements.
  • Assist in the maturing and accreditation of CWPR’s Risk and Compliance frameworks, including the development of KPIs and other measures.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders where required.
  • Respond to reported compliance incidents by performing an impact assessment and communicating/escalating the incident assessment and required action to the appropriate Responsible Manager.

 

About you

You will have:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in managing business risk and compliance, including developing and implementing company-wide business frameworks, monitoring and reporting. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Complimented with studies in Risk and Compliance Management.
  • Experience with relevant standards, such as ISO 31000, ISO 22301 and ISO 37301.
  • Reviewing third party risk management systems.
  • Management of compliance in the energy sector is desirable.
  • A current Australian driver’s licence
