We are seeking an Optical Assistant in a permanent, full time role to join our dynamic team. Our Optical Assistants play a vital role in our stores and will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Provide high level customer service on the retail floor and assist with selecting frames and provide in depth product information
  • Managing our busy diary of customer appointments
  • Adjusting and fitting customers frames and ensuring our product exceedes their expectations.
  • Ensure merchandising standards are met including general cleanliness of the store

The successful candidate will have a rewarding career with Specsavers and will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience of 2yrs or more in a customer service/retail role or similar
  • A self-starter with a sense of humour who enjoys variety and a busy environment
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to build genuine and supportive relationships with colleagues and customers
