I liked having the ability to study part time so I could make other commitments and work on the side. We were able to borrow equipment during class times and make bookings for our own personal use for the studios which was very helpful for us students. Having a car park right outside the campus was convenient especially if we had large A2 prints to carry.

The part I appreciated the most was I could pick and choose subjects each semester and how many classes I took. I originally applied to learn more lighting and photoshop, by attending i realised there were so many classes I wanted to attend so that I continued at my own pace and completed all but one subject, finishing with all credits to high distinction, it was a great foundation to apply to my own business with lots of self directed learning, as part of one subject to enter into AIPP Competitions by doing so it taught me to challenge myself to do better.

This course was a lot of fun for me, the teachers and facilitators are great with the students and the content was interesting and relevant. All the teachers have industry experience so it offers a perfect intro the the professional photography world.

I thought the course was very well set up, and covered a lot of elements of illustration from practical drawing to industry knowledge. I also enjoyed being taught by my lecturers -they were very friendly and empathetic, and knowledgeable about the field (having worked as professional graphic designers/illustrators themselves), and the intimacy of my course overall. I personally found keeping up with the assignments quite hard, as it was very dependent on further independent study as well as classes. But the fact that there was essentially 15 contact hours a week helps balance student's time. I think this is the ideal course for those looking to study illustration specifically (there's not many degree-offering illustration courses in general, it's quite niche) - it gives you a well rounded understanding of every aspect - digital, hand drawn skills, design, context/history, and industry preparation.

Great course that prepared me for working within floristry industry. It was realistic and well paced and covered a broad range of skills necessary to work as a competent florist.

This field is highly competitive and doing this course is not enough to get you started in the industry. You are expected to do a lot of unpaid work experience which you have to find yourself.

I really enjoyed my course. It was a lot of fun and the classes were very industry based, but still taught creative techniques. The teachers were also incredibly helpful when I had health issues that affected my ability to complete the course.

Too much content in too short of a time frame. Anxiety levels sky high.
