Practical course with plenty of opportunity to practice the theory. Excellent teaching facility and knowledgable academic staff. Also very handy that Melbourne Poly has 3 operating vineyards and 2 wineries available for practical skills learning. Mature aged students keen to learn. Highly recommended.

Great combination between theory and practical work! Agriculture has a need for graduates to actually understand from a field base learning experince! It cannot be learnt just from text books!

This course has enabled me to continue on to Certificate III in Racing (Trackrider) I'm excited to be getting into the industry I've always wanted to work in. Giving me the tools and hands on experience I am learning to ride racehorses in a safe controlled environment. This course has re-ignited my passion for Horse racing and has given me my confidence back after a horse-riding accident late last year.
