There were some units and teachers that were fantastic but also a few that were not so much. The course units changed half way through the course which meant that some things had to be double checked, swapped around and changed.

On the whole studying online at ECU is great. There is a lot of support amongst the online student community and ECU provides study hubs where online students can get extra assistance with assignments etc. The mentoring service is excellent too. A few of the lecturers could be a bit more supportive though.

Child and Family Studies major is very industry relevant with the course structured to for theoretical and practical preparation. Psychology major did not cover what I expected but provided a good complimentary understanding that has impacted my professional ability.

It was a fantasy experience especially for a mature student, having English as a second language and not studying for at least 15 years.

The course is great if you are well aware of the career you would like to pursue, aside from little practicing the balance is quite good for a uni course. The tutors and uni are quite easy to reach throughout the semester and it’s not too hard to get help when needed.
