Entry requirements

  • Successful completion of Year 12 in the last 2 years with a study score of at least 20 in any English and completion of any mathematics; OR
  • Successful completion of at least 1 year of tertiary study in a relevant field; OR
  • Successful completion of a tertiary preparatory program such as FedUni Foundation Access Studies Program (FAST); OR
  • Successful completion of a Certificate III or IV qualification in a related field such as community services, education support, children's services or nursing AND have at least 1 year of experience in a relevant area of education or support service; OR
  • Successful completion of a Diploma in a related field

Please note you may be required to complete a literacy and/or numeracy assessment. You will also need to hold a current Working with Children Check in order to complete professional placements.

If you have already completed a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care you may be eligible to receive 1 year of credit and complete this course in a shorter time.
