Good to have practicums throughout the course, although I do think there could be more. Getting involved in schools through the course would be beneficial- example: prac classes could involve a school rather than teachers peers. The theory side of the course was good, although some aspects like how to get a job, how to write to the selection criteria is rushed and not a major area of study. This would help a lot when finished to gain employment.

Particular lecturers did not even teach the current curriculum. Because of this I was not prepared for teaching. The only positive was practicums where we could ask teachers who actually still teach what is current in terms of content and effective teaching.
