This degree prepares students for a career in the fast-paced world of finance by building knowledge in a range of specialisations. Subjects are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the major areas of finance including corporate and international finance, investment valuation, portfolio management and risk management. Students will also develop an awareness of the principles of sustainability and entrepreneurship. Second and third year offers specialised financial electives such as financial and estate planning, derivative securities, mergers and acquisition and security valuation. There are also opportunities to take a study tour or internship electives, or to complete electives at an overseas partner university. La Trobe have connections with top business schools including the University of Innsbruck and the Berlin School of Economics.

Excellent lecturers, eeasy to understand, campus is like a little city. The books were easy to understand and parking was at a reasonable price. The hours were sufficient enough for learning. The library has fantastic books. The computers were up to date.

Proving what i needed to known at the beginning . The university has a good quality of equipment in the library such as desktops , projectors etc . However, it is very hard to make a new friends in the University compare to other university which i hang out with .
