I uave learned a lot from the course. The only problem is we have a limited hospital or areas to actually do work placement as Tasmania has only small population so we don't have many hospitals areas to put all the students.

This was an excellent course. The good:- - Duration appropriate to course content with ability to have an acceptable work/study/home-life balance - Course content tested critical thinking skills of the student as well as learning's by rote, observation and practice, which could then committed to memory - Prior learning's were credited so no time was wasted going over subjects already achieved. - The progression of the course flowed on from the previous subject. This systematic progression facilitated linking the theory to practice. - Thoroughly enjoyed my placements - The not so good:- - Objective critique rather than subjective remarks on an assignment comes to mind and would have been welcome. The assignment that comes to mind was a pass, so no further deliberation was requested on my part.

It was a while ago now but at the time it was great. One of the facilitators was terrible, she was a real bully. But other wise it was a great learning experience.
Response from University of Tasmania
Thank you for leaving a review. It's really worrying to hear bullying behaviour mentioned, that's definitely not acceptable. If you'd like us to look into this please email course.feedback@utas.edu.au

Very good course if you have a desire and the motivation to study for a period with minimal down time. More practical experience would have been an advantage, however the institute is well set up with good links with Menzies centre of research. Delivery both face to face and availability online was helpful if you were unable to make lectures.
Response from University of Tasmania
Thank you for leaving a review. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to continually improve the course.

Loved studying for my nursing degree at UTAS at the Launceston campus. The lecturers and tutors were great, they really knew their work and were always happy to help with anything. I miss the campus and especially the library, it was set out very well just the right size.
