The course taught me a lot about art and how to think critically about political matters. It pushed my boundaries of what I thought I was artistically capable of.

Never been so disappointed. Lots of irrelevant information. Teachers not approachable or helpful.

We didn't have a lecturer for several classes (my major - photo art practice) because she was overseas or other reasons, and we would turn up for class with no lecturer and no one covering the class. If we were lucky they'd find someone to do the class at the last minute but they didn't know anything about our projects and couldn't conduct the class properly. However in my final year I had a great lecturer for my major and wished we had had him all along.

I attended Griffith University's Queensland College of Art campus and found it to be a positive environment with supportive staff. Through the course structure, you have the ability to partake in a range of hands-on practical learning classes with great facilities dependant on what you're doing. However, they could offer more practicality in real-world experience such as internships as a course component but that's probably just a factor of the specific course choosen.
