THE BAD: A couple of the unit coordinators were replaced mid-semester for various reasons which made some units very difficult. The course structure was changed quite drastically half way through, and I really didn't enjoy the new direction. Job prospects for grads and juniors were very minimal upon graduation and some of my fellow graduates are working in unrelated industries now. THE GOOD: I had many absolutely fantastic lecturers and tutors. They were world class. The surrounding bushland made for a great study area.
Response from Murdoch University
Thanks for your review, we're sorry that you experienced some unavoidable staff changes that would have been disruptive to your learning, but glad to hear you had a great experience with many of your lecturers.

Student review
The course itself was incredibly diverse, similar to the industry! It was very enjoyable studying environmental science at Murdoch, as we were located right amongst one of the most biodiverse hotspots in the world. I think there could have been more focus on environmental planning and assessments, and particularly resource recovery. Otherwise, I gained an incredible amount of knowledge and practical experience from my degree, and I often think of my time at Murdoch with great fondness!
