There simply isn’t a better way to get qualified. Paying Registered Training Organisations (RTO’s), only promote a negative culture of an industry that requires you to “actually” know what you are doing. The difference is simple. Tafe teaches you what you need to know, it doesn’t just push you through a course. At the end of the day. A Tafe qualified carpenter is always seen more favourable over an RTO graduate. Because employers know that you’ve received the course in a specific way. You CANNOT LEARN A 4 YEAR TRADE IN 12 weeks.

The course overall was good in the sense I achieved my goal in order to progress in my career. The course content was in-depth and adequately covered all subjects. The only negative from my experience was that teachers were often vague when marking assignments.

Support on certain units non existent. And no real entry level career path after study. Not as described on seek. Best let your employer choose to send you to do the course.
