The course promised a lot and while I was on campus I felt connected to the industry. I found it hard to even get a voluntary work placement. I managed to get some with the Newcastle Council but no paid work in the industry. The teachers were very enthusiastic and friendly

Great course! After completing this course I decided to go to university however it can also benefit those who have a genuine interest in travel. It expands your knowledge on what activities to do whilst travelling and also you learn a bunch of new destinations you may never have heard of!

TAFE teachers are always wonderful at empowering you through your time studying. They are professionals from within the industry and the practical class room layout means lots of hands on learning. Being that it’s TAFE you will always have a handful of rowdy students or those who require much more of the teachers time

I really enjoyed doing this course, the teachers are very help as they are still working in the travel industry or were, which means they have extensive industry knowledge. We did a lot of training scenarios and case studies, which really helped me when i started my job in the industry.
