Two of the most knowledgeable and dedicated subject facilitators I've ever had. Inspiring and confidence building experience.

The trainer was thorough and experienced, the course content was relevant to my job at the time. The course slotted in with my work schedule. Could not fault the whole experience.

The course was a lot harder than expected. Finding a job is the worst part of it as everyone requires experience but once your in there are lots of good opportunities to move up.

I found the course to be very informative and a lot of the content to be totally relevant to my job as a safety officer. However a few of the tasks in hindsight were a long way from practical in the walk place. I found the tasks that required help from others very difficult as my helpers have little or no interest in the topic and as the course is by distance I had no classmates to work with. Commonly I struggled at times to dedicate time to studies around full time work and family life. Allowances like being able to defer time around my second child being born and a reasonable amount of time allocated to complete the course were extremely helpful. On the whole I found the course to be a good experience and managed to secure a job in my new career on the back of this qualification. I would recommend it to anyone looking to start into work health and safety as a career or to just better understand the roles responsibilities and processes around any workplace.

You get a lot out of face to face, and sharing ideas and information about other industries. I did try online but only learnt what i knew was like ticking a box. I want more than that and Tafe provided it. Would recommend Tafe to anyone wanting to learn more rather than just getting a peice of paper.

Legislation changed at the end of my course completion, so most theoretical content was no longer applicable. Bridging course to learn new legislation was not offered either which surprised me given we had fallen just short of learning the new legislation.

Excellent theory content and sources. Samples were provided for further insight and were very helpful and relevant for practical application. A very good choice in choosing a range of assignments to suit the interest of the individual and at the same time relevant to industry requirements.
