After starting as a single unit my study grew out as my enjoyment of the experience grew. Although there were times when the other students seemed to lack a commitment to the course the lecturers were always engaged and added value to learning.

MGSM is one of the few universities that offer a full MBA that can be completed in just 12 months. This is an intense experence that will test even the best students, who come from all over the world to do it. MGSM also one of the few institutions ‘down-under’ that has high international ranking.

Course was intense to minimise duration by compressing 8 semesters into 2 years i.e. 4 terms instead of 2 semesters. Content is best described as applied theory in that real-world examples were used to explore theoretical concepts. The minimum of 5 years management experience, with references, ensures each student has sufficient direct personal experience to reflect and reinvent based on past experiences.

The course was all round good theory knowledge. However there was really no practical element to it. The emphasis they Place on group assignments is a bit much especially when majority are international students.

Needed a more practical application. The degree should require some part of a internship pathway in order to assist people in getting a job. As i didnt have any admin experience, it was very difficult to find my first role, and then my business career never really got off the ground. I decided to go back to university to study a second degree to change my career as i was not happy with the career path i had chosen.
