The course was very good, with detailed topics that were appropriate to Social work and Youth Work. The only thing that was frustrating was when the platform changed from TAFE digital to OTEN, as this meant that I had to re-complete a lot of assignments. Apart from this, it was a solid and well designed course.

I found the availability to study online to be the best option for me as it allowed me to continue working while gaining a qualification. It allowed me to self pace and balance work, study and life commitments. Group chats assisted with maintaining a "classroom" feel. I would recommend this style of education if you can be disciplined with time.

The practical component was only very minimal and I thought there should have been more hands on experience provided. I would have liked more assistance in finding suitable employment once I completed the degree. The overall ability to balance studies with other commitments was very beneficial.
