Entry requirements

  • 2 completed projects with signed affidavits; or
  • 1 completed project with signed affidavit; and
  • 3 years of work experience within the Six Sigma Body of Knowledge.

What you’ll learn

You'll learn how to:

  • Explain and apply Six Sigma philosophies and principles including supporting systems and tools
  • Demonstrate and be a driver for various leadership roles and responsibilities, organisational dynamics, customer expectations and satisfaction
  • Understand the components and techniques used in project management
  • Demonstrate team leadership, and assign team member roles and responsibilities
  • Understand and use all aspects of the DMAIC (define, measure, analyse, improve and control) model in accordance with Six Sigma principles
  • Use and analyse quality function deployment (QFD) techniques, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and basic robust design processes
  • Understand DFX (design for X) and special design tools
