There was a good balance between theory and practical, components which interconnected. Clinical placements were also very helpful in building skills that will be needed out in the workforce.

The course was well balanced and structured, with a good mix of theory and practical application given the pandemic situation. When I completed the course I felt that I had the skills to be successful in my new role, however more practical applications would have been appreciated. The teachers were very helpful and responsive when I reached out to them. There were some technical issues with the online portal and assignments, but these were resolved quickly.

Curtin University offered the opportunity to study online, allowing flexibility to replay lectures and study at own pace. Difficult to work full-time and study full-time, may be better suited to a student with a casual job or upskilling for employment.
