Students obtain a foundational and advanced understanding of the core topics in psychology. Areas that are considered include the cognitive, social, perceptual, physiological, intercultural, Indigenous, and abnormal psychologies and their influence on human behaviour. Studies also cover human development, motivation and emotion, personality and assessment, and human associative learning. Providing students achieve a GPA of 5.5 by the end of the third year of study they are guaranteed entry to the fourth year (Honours).
