Good amount of industry interaction but no real opportunity to find work placement through regular curricular activities. Requires you to drive yourself to make connections and apply what you have learned.
Response from Murdoch University
Thanks for reviewing your course, we now have a dedicated Work Integrated Learning Program that enables students to access practical learning experiences with industry partners.

Student review
The course was good, I really enjoyed lectures and labs/practicals but most of all the prac week in Yanchep for a biodiversity unit. However, more assistance and information on how to prepare and secure a career would be great as I know myself and many of my coursemates are struggling to find a full-time job with our degree. More hands-on work in the field would also be great, I would rather have more hands-on experience rather than concentrating on theory/lectures.
Response from Murdoch University
Thanks for your review, we're glad you enjoyed the practical experiences. We'll take your feedback onboard, and are always aiming to prepare students as well as possible for employment after uni.

Thoroughly enjoyed the course, however more support or guidance in getting a job after graduation would have been appreciated.
